Ricerca n. PMO060821 – Project Manager Senior (CAPEX – Food/Chemical) - France
Studio Temporary Manager™ is looking for an Interim Project Management Officer (HSE – CAPEX) for a 18 months project in France as a part of an International Team, with start in September 2021. Our customer is a leading and constantly growing International Group in the market of food ingredients and preparations.
The manufacturing site in France is undergoing a substantial renovation, both to meet HSE standards and to transform it into a state-of-the-art ingredients manufacturing plant for the food industry.
The professional will assure the in-safety, in-time and in-budget execution of the CAPEX plan. Assure that the outcome of the resulting facilities meets the industry’s highest standards in term of safety, quality, efficiency and service. Assure that the business continuity of day-by-day activity and the timely execution of the CAPEX plan are not damaging each other and pursue the best balance between them.
He will report to the Executive Committee about the plan status, and coordinate with local Operations Management, Quality and HSE team.
Externally, will be in contact with Engineering Partner Companies and Consultants for the execution of the CAPEX plan, and their contractors and suppliers.
High standing management professional, with strong change management skills, ability to solve conflicts, positive leadership, no-compromise ethics and discipline, initiative, lateral thinking ability, capacity to analyze data and lead both technically and organizationally are the most important traits of the ideal candidate.
Professional experience:
Mandatory proven extensive experience in Plant management in structured industrial groups, in chemical, pharmaceutical or food industry.
Experience in multinational, multi-site complex operations, especially from buy and build platforms or other groups generated from M&A.
Very solid project management skills on complex projects
Practical experience of Lean and Kaizen techniques
Knowledge of main chemical and food market quality standards, (HACCP, FSSC 22000, …)
Expertise in data analysis and management
Hands-on experience with everyday production operations in a structured manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to manage large, international and multi-site teams with outstanding results
Languages: Fluent French and English mandatory. Italian is a plus.
Working site: South of Paris, with national and international travel (up to 25% of time) to other group sites and business partners.
