Lo Studio Temporary Manager™ ricerca una figura di Direttore Operations – Ingegnere elettronico a tempo indeterminato/dirigente full time (RAL lorda 100/120.000 euro + auto, cell e/o pc) per un'azienda propria cliente situata in Lombardia e con 2 aziende tedesche recentemente acquisite, per gestire la parte produttiva e dell’ufficio tecnico e rispondendo all’AD. Il manager ricercato è tassativamente un Ingegnere elettronico con inglese fluente sia parlato che scritto (gradita, ma non tassativa, la conoscenza della lingua tedesca). Si prega di non inviare il CV se non in possesso di queste 2 skills base.

Il/la manager dovrà avere le seguenti caratteristiche:
We are looking for a dynamic and enterprising Operations Director with the ambition to reach world class standards in the production electronical devices. You will be responsible for productivity, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective processes and performance improvements through lean methodology. Your main focus will be to guarantee that all processes are tuned to deliver the products with the best quality. You will lead validation and stage & gate processes checking that all requirements are met. In case of non-compliance, you will stop the project and ask for waivers to board management to proceed further. You will manage a team of 22 people in Operations (Supply Chain, Production, and NPI) and 5 people in Quality (ISO 9001/ IRIS).When you are fully aware of all processes of our local company, your expertise could be requested to help the other companies of the group located abroad.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all products are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements.
  • Improve operational systems, processes and best practices that guarantee organizational well-being purchase materials, plan inventory and ensure warehouse efficiency è We want to reduce our product costs yearly by 10% to 20% and reducing our warehouse by at least 10% every year.
  • Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance. è Main goal is to reduce by 10% the Non Quality Costs in 2018 and by 20% in 2019 and 2020.
  • Manage the customer complaints driving containment actions, full analysis, poka-yokes (error proofing) and implementing short-term and long-term countermeasures. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
  • Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility and report highlighting deviations. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
  • Manage logistics process, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery, and returns on products.
  • Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements.
  • Manage NPI team in order to develop new products on time, with the defined cost and quality.
  • Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.
  • Help the R&D team to deliver best in class development projects by driving the stage/gate process and act as fair judge checking if requirements are met. Escalate in case deviations appear.
  • Lead regular inspection meetings with representatives from appropriate departments to establish an action plan for improving build quality.
  • Lead the validation process of all products either internally or externally working closely with the R&D team to ensure robustness of the devices.
